Jeff & Janice Derryberry, own and operate Derryberry’s Heat & Air headquartered in Gallatin, Tennessee. For over 25 years the Derryberry’s have strived to go beyond customer expectations to maintain the industry’s best customer service ratings. Jeff started the business because he truly believed that he could provide a better solution at a price that all customer could afford. Prior to starting Derryberry’s, Jeff worked as a union electrical technician with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). As the business started to grow Janice joined the business to head up the operations. Today they continue to be committed to customer service excellence by providing the best HVAC equipment and repair service possible. Derryberry’s is a certified Trane Comfort Specialist offering a full catalog of Trane products.
Jeff and Janice reside in White House, Tennessee and are parents to 6 children, 9 grandchildren and Toby (their beloved adopted dog).
John McEachen, is the Sales Manager for Derryberry. John joined the company in July of 2003 after attending Bowling Green Technical College where he worked towards an associated degree in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC). John is a few credits short of obtaining his degree and has plans to take the necessary course work to obtain his degree
John started out as an Apprentice technician and was promoted to Service Manager in 2008. As the company grew Derryberry’s needed an experienced manager to take over the Sales department; John was promoted to Sales Manager in August of 2009 where he heads up the team to promote the industry’s best HVAC equipment, Trane.
John is NATE certified and has passed the State of Tennessee’s Mechanical test for CMC Mechanical Contractor certification.
Nick Brosche, leads the Service department for Derryberry’s working with both the firm’s residential and commercial customers to ensure service quality excellence. Nick joined the company in 2004 after a career in the wholesale grocery industry. Nick was initially assigned to work in the back office on accounting and administrative duties helping to establish the systems and processes required for growth. After learning all aspects of the company’s operation Nick was promoted to his current position in 2009.
Nick has also passed the Business and law Management testing requirements as administered by the Tennessee Board of Contractor Licensing; this is state requirement for all Mechanical contractors. Nick is married and has 2 children.
Charlie Brady, is responsible for the management of Equipment Inventory and assists in the Sales department. Charlie joined the company in 2006 after working for RR Donnelly in a leadership position. As the company experienced substantial growth the need for inventory/equipment management become a critical necessity. Charlie has established the systems and processes for the company to ensure that the proper inventory levels are maintained to meet the project needs of all Derryberry customers. Charlie has earned a certification from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Charlie is married and has 2 children.
Tracy Harp, is the Office Manager for Derryberry’s and is person that most customers talk to or see when visiting the company’s headquarters. Tracy always ensures that customers get that questions answered in a timely manner. Tracy oversees the administrative tasks for the company as well as contributes to the accounting department. Tracy become a full-time employee in June of 2007 after nearly 20 years at Oshkosh Corporation. Previously Tracy had been employed part-time by Derryberry’s answering after hours customer calls.
Tracy has one child.
Terry Owens, joined the company in a full-time capacity in August of 2010 assisting with back office duties. Terry had previously worked for Governor Ned McWherter and U.S. Senator Harlan Mathews. After learning the HVAC business Terry was promoted to Inside Sales.
Terry has a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) from Middle Tennessee State University. Terry has one child.
