What to Expect
This is what you can expect once you have decided to install a new HVAC system with Derryberry’s.
Someone from our office will call you a day before your scheduled installation date to remind you of the project. We will answer any questions or concerns you may have and confirm our appointment. We will be sure all of your equipment and materials are available and ready to be installed at least a day before your scheduled install.
Our team will arrive the day of install generally between 8:00-9:00 AM depending on your home’s location. We will arrive in Derryberry’s marked vehicles, and our team will be wearing clearly marked Derryberry’s shirts or uniforms. The team leader will review the project with you before we begin.
When the job begins, our crew will take care to remove their shoes or wear shoe covers before entering your home. We will also lay drop cloths on the floor to prevent any damage to flooring or carpeting in high traffic areas. We will begin by removing all old equipment, materials, duct work, etc. These items will be disposed of off-site once the job is complete. Around lunch time, our team leader will inform you that they are going to take a break and will usually take a 30 minute to an hour lunch. After lunch break, our lead tech will again review the job with you and see if there are any questions at that point.
Once the installation of equipment and duct work is complete, our team will operate your new system in heating and cooling modes, check the system for proper operation, make any adjustments needed, and explain the functions & controls of the system. Our lead technician will go over a perfect system checklist with the homeowner to ensure the job has met or exceeded all expectations. We will make sure you are comfortable operating the new system. We will have the customer sign off on the checklist if satisfied, and at that time will take payment or signatures if job is financed.
Once the job is paid in full, our office staff at Derryberry’s will register all warranties with the product manufacturer, mail invoice and warranty information to the customer and close out the invoice. We will then follow up in a few weeks to make sure you are completely satisfied with your new system.
