Derryberry’s Heat & Air’s Furnace Installation Process

One of our service techs will call you a day before your scheduled installation to remind you of your appointment. We will address any concerns you may have and confirm your appointment. We will make we’re prepared with the right equipment and materials at least a day before your installation appointment.

Our team will arrive at your home between 8:00-9:00 AM depending on your home’s location. We will arrive in marked vehicles with the name of our company on it. In addition, our team will be wearing Derryberry’s Heat & Air shirts or uniforms. Before we begin the installation process, the team leader will go over the details of the project with you.

Our crew will remove their shoes or wear shoe covers before entering your home. To prevent damage to your flooring and carpet, we will also lay drop cloths. We will remove old equipment, materials, ductwork, and other unnecessary items. We will dispose of the items at an off-site location once the job is complete. Around lunchtime, our team leader will inform you that they are going to take a break. We usually take a 30 minute to an hour lunch. When our lunch break is over, our lead tech will review the job with you again to see if you have any questions.

After the installation and ductwork are complete, our team will operate your new system in heating and cooling modes, check the system to make sure it’s operating properly, make additional adjustments, and explain how the features and controls of the system work.  Our lead technician will go over a checklist with you to ensure you’re completely satisfied with the installation. Additionally, we will make sure that you’re comfortable with using the system. If you’re satisfied with your system, we will have you sign off on the checklist and take payment or signatures if the job is financed.

Once we have the full payment, our office staff at Derryberry’s Heat & Air will register all warranties with the product manufacturer, mail invoice and warranty information to you and close out the invoice. We will follow up with you in a few weeks to make sure you are 100 percent satisfied with your new heating system.

Can a Furnace Replacement Help You Save?

It’s a fact of life that every heating system will need to be replaced eventually. If you’re like most people, though, you’re probably inclined to put off paying for a furnace or heat pump replacement until it’s absolutely necessary. In reality, proactively swapping out your aging equipment can sometimes come with major benefits. The trick is knowing when your investment is likely to be worth the cost.

If your heating equipment is more than a decade old, you could stand to benefit from an energy-efficient replacement. Upgrading is especially important if your current system is no longer covered under a warranty. Frequent breakdowns, rising heating costs and declining performance are also clear indicators that it’s time to make a change.

Before you install a new heating system, make sure you’re preparing yourself for long-term success. Call in the professionals at Derryberry’s Heat & Air for comprehensive heating installation services that can’t be topped. Our service area includes Gallatin, Goodlettsville, Hendersonville, Lebanon, Mount Juliet, TN and the surrounding areas.
